This image shows an artists conception of what the extra-solar planet CoRoT-7b, discovered the French CoRoT satellite. by It is the smallest exo-planet to be discovered thus far, and as such it is the most similar to the Earth in physical dimensions, having a radius 1.7 times that of Earth, and a mass 5 times greater. It is most likely not a candidate for life or human colonization, due to the fact that its orbit is less than Mercury's, so a year on CoRoT-7b is about 20 hours, and giving it a surface temperature of 1000-1500 degrees Celsius.
